Birthday Walk

Happy Birthday Mimi!

This morning Charlie, Rudy, and I decided to take Mimi on a birthday walk but by the time we got outside it had started to rain a little bit, so we came back in and got umbrellas.  And by the time we got back outside again, it had already stopped raining.  That didn't stop Charlie from carrying his. Plus he invented an emergency umbrella rescue boat outfitted with a water purification system.  What a kid.

The Many Faces of Leprechan

Fun with Kindergarten Art.  Charlie chose to not color his beard, moustache (not pictured), and ears.  Wise choice my boy, wise choice.  A beautifully unmarred photo op.  And a FABULOUS job with scissors.  Do I detect a perfectionist?  I think so because when I was helping out at school today, he offered me advice how to do a better job cutting.

Imagine.

Mimi's Birthday at the Nimrod

Surprise!  Charlie went photo-wild and I took a few myself.

Guess Who's Standing

Nine months tomorrow!  Yeah Elle.

Peace, Rock & Roll, and Applesauce

Not exactly together but within the same hour.  Charlie was all rock and roll and peace.  And Elle, well, she was all applesauce.

Polar Bear Plunge

Totally insane...considering I have been in a perpetual state of cold since October.  We just went down to watch, but Charlie says that next year - he wants to participate.  Uh, not me.  Sorry Charlie.  Maybe Aunt Mary and Uncle Wes?  Okay, maybe Uncle Wes?  Mary and I will hold the towels.

Night Sky

Seems not so much like winter these past few days.  I even took Rudy to the beach this afternoon - and I didn't have to put on my snowpants to do it.  That and the ground has thawed.  Is this an indian fall - or indian spring?  I know it's going to get cold again but the grasshopper didn't see his feet or whatever that whole deal is about...so spring is on the way.  Please?

Here is a shot of the moon.  Playing around with my new camera, NOT an expert, but getting ready for Alaska.
