White Winter

Hip Hop is cancelled today on account of snow.  Good thing, cause it's a little slippery out there.  I saw someone cross country skiing on the sidewalk.  That's a fun way to pass the afternoon.  Maybe Charlie and I will head down to the beach after he gets off the bus. 

I thought it didn't snow much on the Cape.  It's snowing corn flake sized flakes.  Who's ready for a snow angel?

Snow Falling on Rudy

It seems we get much less snow on the cape than from where the news is transmitted.  This morning we awoke to minty grass followed by rain, but huge floaty chunks of snow started falling again around 11 so Rudy and I geared up and headed for the beach.  I am sorry to say this is more about Rudy than it is about snow.  Think you might spy a few flakes in the non-Rudy shots.

Can You Say Yellow?

Yellow Sash.  Tonight Charlie promoted from white sash to yellow in kung fu.  He displayed his dragon form with his classmates following Tai Si Hing Tim's lead.  When he came home he gave me a few growly poses and got a kiss from Rude.

By the way - the box he is standing on is not a toy box but his "stage."  Of course.

Flight Cancelled - In the Meantime...

Their flight got cancelled.  Three extra days of fun! We made the most of the time.  Nerd gun wars, GameWorks, a trolley ride, The Columbia - oh, and Pepin before it becomes Hooters.  Is that even legal?

Somehow these silly costume glasses made their way into many of the pictures we took this Christmas.  Mary and I joked that next year's holiday photo should be us donning the silly spectacles.
