A Hike in the Heights
We decided to go for a walk. Afterwards we decided it was too dangerous to do so... High winds, sea spray, downed trees, brave cormorants diving into the high gray sea below, fallen flag poles, dumb young swimmers showing off to many onlookers, and a Channel 7 Boston reporter.

Timing
Well, I headed out to get a few shots of the yard - many downed branches and a big one down at Grandma's - but as I stepped out the door and snapped this shot it began to downpour, so I ran back in. An earlier drive revealed high winds and waves, some flooding and flying roofing.
More to come?

Earning Cash
This boy wants to earn some cash. Legos are expensive you know, and money doesn't grow on trees. Mimi taught Charlie how to wash a car for which he earned a quarter a side - two sides. Then he trimmed the stalks off the irises which have since gone by - and what swords they make! For one more quarter.

Family Fun Run 2011
Another year, another run. This time 200 yards - part way around the track. (As opposed to across the grass in between.) So many friends, so much fun!
