A Side by Side Test...sort of

Test Logo

Here is another version of the logo...which is better?

Happy Monday to Ya

Rudy missed his boy and here's the kiss to prove it.  I worked on a logo, which probably would have been made easier had I known how to use Photoshop...Do you like?  Wish I knew how to make it transparent rather than on a white background...soon, soon.

And look - here's a photo in which I actually got Charlie to smile...uh but the pic is blurry.  You mean I wasted a bribe on a fuzzy shot! Oh well, you're gonna have to love it anyway.

And I have to add these of Sweet Baby Elle that I took last week, evidence of Aunt Laurel and Isabella fun.

Fun Monday!

On the First Day of Fall

The leaves are already beginning to change ever so slightly.  I noticed this on my way back from Boston Tuesday.  Later that day a log fell from one of the trees in the front yard - okay, maybe not officially a log AND not due to autumn.

Charlie and I picked up sticks for the stick man, who here happens to be Grandpa.  A trip to the dump anyone?

Of course, the stick had to be broken seeing as it was so large.  Naturally a kick to do the trick.  Kung Fu infused into everything we do.

Guess Who Lost a Tooth?

On the way to the orchard Charlie was wiggling his tooth, so I said, "It would be a great story if we went apple picking today and you lost your tooth."

Well, it happened.

Ha!

I had to include the note he enclosed to the tooth fairy with his tooth - he said he wanted to keep it to show to his kids one day.

Now that's planning ahead.

Off to School

The school supply list said full sized backpacks.  That's one big bag for one little guy!  I have been dividing up the contents to send into school so he doesn't tip over backwards.

We decided that sitting on the steps might be a good way to pass the time, but he said his butt was hanging off - the bag was in the way.

While we were waiting I said, "Hey, maybe we can pick up sticks for the stick man."  But realized that if Chaz bent over he might need help getting up.  So I said, "well maybe not you."  To which Charlie did not agree, "Never say never," and he showed me his stick.

Rudy must have felt left out, "Roof, roof, roof!" And it was over for one last hug before the bus.

Then when I saw the bus, Charlie decided it was time to run off and hide.  For fun.  Like a game.  I said, "No Charlie.  The bus driver needs to see you so she stops."  Good thing I took pictures yesterday because today's are a flop.  But I thought they were funny.

His driver is so nice - she asked if handsome Charlie was ready to go see his new friends today.  I blew him a kiss as they drove away.

Boing! After the First Day

Charlie was not interested in pictures when I picked him up...but he said, "BOING!" when he learned I had mini cookies with M&Ms in them waiting in the car.  BOING?  Must be a new thing - that was the last of it - for that day at least.

His teacher, Mrs. LaFrance was on the front page of the Enterprise.  Big news in a small town.

First Day of Kindergarten

Today was Charlie's first day.  He was a little nervous...but a super brave guy.  I can't wait to go pick him up - no bus ride home today...school's out at 3:30 and hip hop is at 4.  A bit of a time crunch.

Charlie's Last Day of Summer

He was feeling pretty silly...

The scenery looks so pretty it's like he's in front of a green screen.  Nope - just Cape Cod air and silly Chaz.

Before the Storm - Chaz n Rude

Took a singing session with Chaz and Rude this am but the video came out digitized and without any sound.  What a bummer!  I uploaded it to YouTube anyway but it seems a new camera will be in our future.  Seeing as pictures and video is my passtime.

Here is a still of the action I neglected to catch.

Cute jammies!  Love, LOVE, love Gymboree!
