One Sweet Boy

He wanted to buy his Mama flowers, so he chose these red roses. My boy knows something special when he sees it. Already he's turning on the charm. This little boy already is melting hearts along the way, one step at a time.

This Little Tyke Learned to Ride a Bike

Uncle Wes came back for a second visit.

Uncle Wes's Shadow

Uncle Wes has a shadow; we call him Charlie. Everything Uncle Wes does, Chaz is not too far behind.

"Hey Uncle Wes. You know what rhymes with scoop?"

Bad boys.

Bad, bad, boys.

What Rhymes With Orangatang?

"Ohhhhhhhhhh, ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh, yodellllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhh!"

This pirate in training beats his chest like an orangatang while wearing his orange - is that Clemson orange Mom?! - crocs on the short walk to Great Gram's house.

Charlie's Rhyming Vacation

This is the summer of rhymes. For example, a new song - by Chaz - "I love you in the whole heart, bo bart, mo mart."

A common phrase - "Guess what...time and slime rhyme."

Fun. (Sun.) (Run...)

As Fast As You Can

Run, run, run. The fun never stops. (Charlie certainly doesn't.) I shot this one this morning. We can barely contain our excitement as Uncle Wes and Mary just arrived. And tonight - fireworks!

Booom!

Swimming Lessons Pay Off

Charlie is having a blast with Mimi and Grandpa. The kiddie pool is way warmer than the Atlantic and it comes with a built in deck and chairs. We really like being out of the blistering heat, but we still gob on the sunscreen.

Adios!
